Samantha Widlund – Wedding and Event Manager
Three things you should know about Sam:
She didn’t know what she was applying for when she applied for her job at Strelitzia.
She doesn’t have a favorite flower because it’s impossible to pick when you love all of them, especially wedding flowers.
She considers it an absolute privilege to get to be the point person who works with clients from intake to overseeing production and installation.
Tish Martin – Strelitzia Flower Co. General Manager
Tish does it all – from managing all areas of Strelitzia Flower Company to design oversight and climbing ladders for wedding flowers installations and more.
If there’s a job that needs to be done at Strelitzia, Tish has done it. She is an action oriented leader, not afraid to taken on any job no matter how large or small.
Dean Labadie – Owner, Strelitzia Flower Co, Weddings by Strelitzia, J&D Wholesale
To pay for his education while a student at UC Davis, Dean started Strelitzia Flower Co by selling flowers from a bucket in 1971. He and his wife Janice added J&D Wholesale in 1993, making the overnight run to the coast weekly for the freshest blooms.
Dean and Janice build the Strelitzia family of brands on a commitment to community, common sense, taco soup and grilled cheese sandwiches and are still involved in the day to day running of Strelitzia, over 50 years after Dean and his bucket got started.
At Weddings by Strelitzia, we believe that love is love and everyone should celebrate it. We also believe that your wedding flowers should be your wedding flowers – created uniquely for you to celebrate your unique love story and vision for your day.
